From the day we start school, we are judged on our performance. Every test and exam is assessed and marked by someone else -- sometimes by a stranger who has only the paper in front of them to decide how capable you are.
However, it is not always the case that a small snippet of our performance is used to judge our achievements.
As you progress from education and into a career, you may be asked to write a self-appraisal, which is a type of performance review.
